Keynote Abstract
Generative AI has the potential to radically transform higher education by enhancing teaching, learning, research, and innovation in ways we never imagined before. University educators and learners are suddenly empowered with new capabilities that can facilitate and accelerate knowledge creation and transfer across various disciplines. However, generative AI also comes with a suite of ethical and social issues that need to be addressed carefully. This talk will explore the opportunities and challenges of generative AI in higher education, as well as how we need to balance the benefits and risks of this powerful technology.
