Besides coming away from these with a suite of ideas\, how can attendees make use of TALIC ideas\, resources and strategies to enhance our own teaching and learning practice and build our professional repertoire? In this sharing session\, Tanya will show how she developed a successful Teaching Development Grant based on rich learning shared by TALIC colleagues in a session based on using the Twine app for scenario-based learning. The potential impact of utilizing a single ‘hands-on’ event and taking forward implementation of ideas and strategies from the event will also be discussed. \nThis session is open to all. It may be particularly useful to colleagues who have not yet applied for a Teaching Development Grant\, but are interested in doing so. \nAbout the speaker\nTanya Kempston is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education and Programme Director of the Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) programme in her Faculty. She has been teaching at HKU since 2008 and was awarded the University Teaching Innovation Award in 2021 and University Outstanding Teaching Award in 2018.
