Abstract

In the past years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged at light speed as a powerful new tool. In spring 2022, extraordinary visual representations in mind-blowing photorealism began to occur via social media. Images generated with applications, such as midjourney, Dall-E, or Stable Diffusion, flooded the News Feeds on Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. Never before has it become so easy to create visual ideas and representations so fast and convincing.
Architecture is a profession that works and communicates with ideas via drawings, images, and models. AI is seen by many as a disruption to the profession. This talk will discuss current tendencies, promises, and possibilities of AI in Architecture.
