Abstract

Authentic assessment refers to assessment that acknowledges the authentic skills, practices and tools that students will need in their future professions. While authentic assessment is not a new idea in itself, it needs to be rethought in the digital world, and particularly in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Nowadays, students do not only use digital technology but live with it: AI is a part of our everyday life in higher education. How could we design authentic assessment in the digital world?
