About the event
Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is an innovative pedagogical approach that promotes global citizenship, students’ development of intercultural competence and cross-institutional teaching collaboration. Through virtual exchange, learners from different geographical and cultural backgrounds could broaden horizons, enrich intercultural understanding, and sharpen communication and collaboration skills through interaction with their overseas peers.
Jointly organised by TALIC, Common Core and CiC, this networking event offers HKU participants an opportunity to explore potential COIL collaborations with University of Glasgow. There will be presentations on the COIL programme structure of HKU and University of Glasgow, followed by a networking activity to mingle with the Glasgow delegates. Join us to expand your network and build connections with like-minded educators!
