With reference to his own 3rd year undergraduate landscape systems studio, he will discuss the role of STAs in supporting instructors and students, and reflect on the highly positive impact they have had on student learning, and the benefits to the STAs themselves.

Students as Co-instructors – nourish program for fledging medical educators
Abstract
Medical students will become medical educators during the course of their careers. In School of Biomedical Sciences, we established a near-peer anatomy teacher (N-PAT) programme for future medical educators to get their first taste as co-instructors in dissection sessions. Since 2021, N-PATs have been involved in nearly 100 dissection sessions. Hundreds of medical students have benefited from this programme. Many have joined the N-PAT team in later years and feed back into the program. In this presentation, we will share our experiences in the N-PAT programme from multiple perspectives.

Abstract
Mental health impacts on all aspects of university life. From teaching and learning to peer relationship, formal services and co-curricular activities, students are key stakeholders in the co-production of a campus environment where people flourish or languish. In this talk, we share our recent experience with Wellness@HKU, which started as a small partnership among a group of students and staff enthusiastic in mental health, with an aim to engage a wider community within HKU through both traditional and student-friendly communications for a developing a collaborative network of university mental wellness.
